Quite possibly the only hobbit to ever sign the Abbey Road Studio wall.
I did cross the road, but in the pocket of another, because if I were to try and stop to pose, I would have been no match for the cars going through the zebra crossing.

Rome - Part 2

This is me on top of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Amazing view of the city. Right above my head you can see the Coleseum. To my right is the Old City - Roman ruins.

Here I am in the Coleseum looking out. I could have taken over the city from here.
Out to dinner. Wine and candlelight in the streets. So very Roma - so very romantic.

The Sistine Chapel. Need I say more?
The Rome Adventure - part 1

Our adventure began in the Stansted airport, where we had the pleasure of spending the night. Don't worry - this picture was posed. We never actually slept. But a lot of good literature was read.

One of our first adventures in Roma was Saint Peter's Basillica. There are a million stairs to the top. The hallways are narrow and slanted, as you are climbing around a dome. But the view is amazing.

The inside of the Basillica is also amazing... however, the fence was a bit frustrating.

This is the Trevi fountain. Rumor has it if you throw a coin over your shoulder and it makes it in the Trevi, you will return to Roma.
I am returning to Roma.

Double decker bus goodness.
The most fun a hobbit can have on London transport.

Guy Fawkes Day celebration...

Matches and fireworks. A good combination.

Oh dear.

(Don't worry, they were just kidding. I was not lit and melted into a pile of goo.)

Appariently, Erica sent Karla a gummy eyeball.
It turned into a battle. I won. Then Karla ate the eyeball and didn't feel so good. But that is expected after eating an eyeball. Even if it is gummy.

A couple of days ago, Elsie sent Karla a wonderful box, sending Karla into an "I can't cut the tape!" panic, since pocket knives are not allowed in this country. Good thing I was there to help.

Later that same day, Jeff, Karla and I were on our way to the British Museum via Oxford Street. We encountered some Storm Troopers, but Karla talked us out of the sittuation.

This is me outside the British Museum, which has many many cool treasures of the world, such as the Rosetta Stone, Asyrian Temple bits that David may have passed by before the lion's den, pieces of the Parthenon, and mummies.

Tuesday we ventured to Camden, where you can buy anything, including these beautifully colored tapestries.
Ah, Halloween.
I dressed up as an Orc.
For fun, we ventured to The Clink Prison Museum. This is the oldest prison in London, turned into a museum. A bit anti-climatic for Halloween, but it was cheap and we all learned something. Including the difference between headgear and a chasity belt.

Below is Bryana about to hack Karla's head off with a foam axe. Or at least try. If you look to the right of Karla's head, you can see that I am about to take Bre out at the wrists. My small stature is not working to my advantage in this sittuation. Good thing it is a foam axe.
