Get Fat!
Last Friday night, I had the opportunity to join Kachelle and Karla for one of their infamous
"Get Fat" nights at Big Al's.
On the way up the South Hall hill, Karla and I found a very large toad.

Unfortunately, I did not get my picture taken with our toad friend
because the camera batteries died.
Karla and I walked through the NAB, where Dan invited us to play Murder. Though it sounded like fun, we were on a mission: Get Fat.
We stopped in Lambein to pick up Kachelle, who was visiting Gina. I haven't been in Lambein in a long time! Karla wrote on Bre's door. I wrote on Dayle's door. Would have taken a picture, but the camera batteries were dead.
The three of us next stopped in East, where Kachelle had camera batteries. Score!
On to Big Al's.

They made me work for my food. Isn't the whole point of "Get Fat" to relax and eat...
not work it off?
Regardless, I ordered 25 medium wings. Karla took a picture of me with all the wings before I devoured them all, but in one last attempt to thwart all my picture events tonight, the camera lost the image. Use your imagination.

Here I am after I ate all those wings. One of these days I will stop stuffing myself full of junk food. But it was a Get Fat night, and I did just that.

The Great Chocolate Hunt: An Easter Tale
I was having a nice chat with some vacationing bunnies, when they told me that once a year the Easter Bunny comes and hides chocolate in a basket.
Intrigued, I requested some help.

Well, this arrangement isn't going to work out...

So I tried things the old fashion way... sticking out my thumb.

And wouldn't you know it, this little guy was nice enough to loan me his carrot car, for my more than worthy quest.
I didn't take the drop into account
when asking to borrow his car.
Sorry, buddy.
Hey, fuzzy beloved puppy, can you point me in the direction of the chocolate-hiding bunny?

Sure enough, he told me where the chocolate-hiding bunnies were.
But they were reluctant to speak.

They said I had to wait until Easter morning.
And that this sort of requesting wouldn't get me any chocolate.
Easter morning!
Easter basket!

But they told me it wasn't mine...
Those pink capris weren't my color anyway.
But what about my chocolate?

Unattended Easter basket...!
Shhh.

Look what we have here!
There has to be more where that came from...
Jackpot.
Oh no! Guard dog!
I will buy your silence with a chocolate egg.
And take my bounty elsewhere.

Mmmm, bounty.

Sweet mana from Heaven!

I need another...
Mmmmmm...

One more can't hurt...
Third one is a charm, they say.
So very good.

So. Very. Sick.

Ugh. I'm not moving for a week.

I'm not so sure something that green is safe to drink.
It could be radioactive. You never know.
Please, let's take a moment to reflect on

the Switchfoot concert!
Last night, Betsy, Karla and I went to see Switchfoot at Water Street Music Hall in Rochester.
In case you couldn't tell, we took this ourselves, and we are excited. Very excited.

It was very dark, but they sounded AMAZING. And the more the concert carried on, the closer we got to the stage.

This is me at the concert. The man in the center is Jon, the lead singer.

You know, the one with the great voice.

I give you Switchfoot.

Desert loving in your eyes all the way
If I listen to your lies would you say
I’m a man without conviction
I’m a man who doesn’t know

How to sell a contradiction

You come and go

You come and go

Karma karma karma karma karma chameleon

You come and go

You come and go

Loving would be easy if your colors were like my dream

Red, gold and green

Red, gold and green
