Karla and I moved to Boston...
by train!

We had a layover in Albany, NY... you can see the state capital over my shoulder.
This was as close as we got.
I do love a good train ride. This one was about 10 hours.

Humor Writing with Leslie and Karla.
On the last day we gave a presentation.

Really, I was the star.

What a great way to end a college career.
A few weeks ago, Karla had an interview in Newfoundland, Canada.
Naturally, I went with her.

We took the car...

...to the Buffalo bus station...

... over the US - Canadian border (my 4th country visited) ...

... to Toronto, where we stopped for lunch...

... and hopped a plane to St. John's.

The weekend went well, but there are no pictures of time spent in Newfoundland.

Our plane back left at 6am.

Thankfully there was coffee. And we bought Timbits in the terminal.

I'm flying, Jack! I'm flying!

On the way back home (which was a plane ride to a bus ride to the car), we stopped in Toronto. Might as well make a day of it!

You know we went to the top.

Rochester is WAY over there.

Gotta love the glass floor.

We had lunch at RichTree, which is fabulous. If you go to Toronto, eat here.

I took a moment before leaving to run through the plaza sprinklers.
